Paving work to reduce U.S. 61 ramp to I-55 The U.S. 61 ramp to Interstate 55 South in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. The repairs will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Aug. 8 through 15, with the work being done from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release...
