Portions of South Farmington Road and West Washington Street in Jackson will be reduced to one lane Tuesday, allowing the city's contractor to perform asphalt rejuvenating maintenance. On South Farmington Road, the project area will be between West Jackson Boulevard (Highways 34/72) and West Main Street. On West Washington, the work zone will be from North Farmington Street and to North Oklahoma Street. Corrective Asphalt Materials is scheduled to complete all maintenance work on both streets between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. There will be no parking on those roads on the day of treatment. In the event of rain, operations will be delayed until Wednesday. For more information, contact public works director Rodney Bollinger at 243-2300.
