Pavement work set for Route Z in Cape County

Route Z between Route F and Highway 25 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews widen and overlay the road with asphalt. The work will be done from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily Monday through Oct. 26, weather permitting. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
