SIKESTON, Mo. -- Route J from Highway 72 in Madison County to Highway 51 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil. Weather permitting, the work will be done from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Aug. 3. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
