Pavement repairs set for I-55 in Cape County

North- and southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane while Missouri Department of Transportation crews make pavement repairs. Weather permitting, the work will begin on a section of the interstate between Highway 74 to Route K. The road will be reduced beginning at 6 p.m. Monday and ending at 7 a.m. Tuesday. The second section is from Route K to Highway 74. Work will be from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday. The work zone will be marked with signs.
