LeeAnna Reagan, 14, of Patton, Mo., recently was recognized for her grade-point average at Meadow Heights School to compete in Miss Teen of Missouri pageant.

After filling out an application, she was chosen to compete in the Miss Teen pageant in August in Warrensburg, Mo. This is a pageant of intelligence and poise with several categories of competition.

She is the daughter of Mike and Cathy Reagan of Patton. All of her family and close friends, along with Patton Junction, Variety Shops 1,3 and 4, Liley Funeral Home, Mouser Steele, MR Siding/Reagan Farms LLC, all of Patton; Twin City Auto Sales of Scott City; Catfish Kettle of Farmington, Mo.; and Alliance Bank, support her in this competition.

The winner of the competition receives a $1,000 cash scholarship to the college of her choice and a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond. In addition, her high school will receive $250 from the Miss Teen of America Scholarship and Recognition Pageant. She would also be eligible to compete for the national title of Miss Teen of America.

LeeAnna is the first Meadow Heights School student to be chosen.
