Part of Broadway to be closed starting Monday

Beginning Monday, a section of Broadway between Spanish and Main streets in Cape Girardeau will be closed for sanitary sewer repair.

Dutch Enterprises will be making repairs to a sanitary sewer pipe at 121 Broadway.

Detour signs will be in place, and the city expects the work to last four days, weather permitting. Motorists are asked to drive with caution if traveling in the area. Additional information is available by calling the Department of Development Services at 339-6327 when its office opens Monday.
