CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Teachers from area parochial schools are attending a series of computer workshops at Notre Dame High School this spring.
Teachers are receiving hands-on training, including instruction on several specific programs, with Appleworks being the main focus.
Teaching the course are Karen Weston and Martha Lansden of Stephens College in Columbia.
Teachers participating in the workshop include Nan Beussink, Sr. Susan Belger and Denise McDowell, Immaculate Conception School in Jackson; Gabriela Kuntz and Brenda Kuhn, St. Mary Cathedral School in Cape girardeau; Jerry Grim, Carleen Johns and Wayne Nenninger, Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau.
Other teachers include Jody Grim, St. Ambrose School in Chaffee; Francie Rosenquist, St. Augustine School in Kelso; Sr. Kathleen Bushur and Marge King, St. Denis School in Benton; Edwina Dempsey, Vicki LeGrand and Yvonne Fath-Thomas, St. Francis Xavier School in Sikeston; Sandy Hasenkamp, Tracy Holland, and Sandi Hulshof, Guardian Angel School in Oran.
