Parking on certain city streets will be restricted Saturday due to the Southeast Missouri State University Homecoming Parade.
The restrictions will go into effect at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Vehicles parked in restricted areas after that time will be towed.
Parking will be prohibited on both sides of Broadway north of West End Boulevard to Main Street; on Main from Broadway to William Street; on West End from Broadway to Dunklin; and on Louisiana 500 feet south of Broadway.
Officers will erect signs and other control devices. Parking will be restored immediately after the parade.
