CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Cape Girardeau Parents as Teachers will offer screening for children in the Cape Girardeau school district April 9-13.
The screening is for children who were one or two years old by July 1, 1990.
The school will be screening in the areas of language, hearing, vision, and health/physical development.
Screenings are available on a voluntary, cost-free basis, and are held by appointment only.
The screenings will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 804 N. Cape Rock Drive.
On April 9-12, screenings will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On April 13, the screenings will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If parents are interested or would like more information, call the Parents as Teachers office at 651-3703 between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. weekdays.
