Louisa Panou-Takahashi, an assistant professor of voice at Southeast Missouri State University, will present an operatic recital at 8 p.m. Nov. 18, in Old St. Vincent's Church.

She will be assisted by bass-baritone David Smalley, a professor of voice at the University of Northern Iowa, and Christopher Goeke, assistant professor of voice and opera at Southeast.

The program will consist of operatic arias and duets from Mozart's "Don Giovanni," Verdi's "La Traviata," Puccini's "La Boheme" and Offenbach's "Orpheus in the Underworld."

Miguel Pinto, a former, special assistant to Leonard Bernstein, will provide accompaniment.

Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for senior citizens and students under 18. Admission is free with a university ID.
