BENTON, Mo. -- Two Chaffee residents are facing felony charges as the result of a drug investigation by the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force. According to a probable cause affidavit signed by William Sullivan with the task force, police on Thursday searched the home of Quintin D. Wiencek and Cheryl A. Tucker at 134 Cook Street in Chaffee, turning up about 16 grams of methamphetamine, $5,114 in cash, about six grams of marijuana, a scale, smoking pipes, baggies and syringes...

BENTON, Mo. -- Two Chaffee residents are facing felony charges as the result of a drug investigation by the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force.

According to a probable cause affidavit signed by William Sullivan with the task force, police on Thursday searched the home of Quintin D. Wiencek and Cheryl A. Tucker at 134 Cook Street in Chaffee, turning up about 16 grams of methamphetamine, $5,114 in cash, about six grams of marijuana, a scale, smoking pipes, baggies and syringes.

Wiencek and Tucker are each facing two felonies of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and a misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the affidavit.

Wiencek and Tucker were in custody Friday at the Scott County Jail. Wiencek has two prior convictions of possession of a controlled substance and his bond is set at $75,000 cash-only. Tucker has a prior arrest for possession and her bond is set at $25,000 cash-only.
