Pachyderms Club will host Jackson mayoral candidates

The Southeast Missouri Pachyderm Club will host the candidates running for Jackson mayor in a public forum Thursday at Dexter Bar-B-Que, 236 S. Broadview St. in Cape Girardeau.

Dwain Hahs is running against incumbent Barbara Lohr for the position. Voters will determine the next mayor in the April 7 election.

The event is open to the public. The group gathers at 6 p.m. A brief business meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m., and the program will follow at 7.
