The Southeast Missouri Pachyderm Club will hold a candidate forum at 7 p.m. tonight at Dexter Bar-B-Que, 236 S. Broadview St., for the three Republican primary candidates for the 158th District Missouri House seat.
The Pachyderm Club is a club for conservatives with ties to the Republican Party, but the forum will be open to the public, according to a statement from Jim Roche, club secretary.
Jeff Glenn, a manager with Delta Industries and a one-time aide to former senator Jim Talent, Wayne Wallingford, a retired Air Force officer who is director of human resources for McDonalds of Southeast Missouri, and Clint Tracy, a Naval reserve officer whose family owns International Wood Products, are competing in the Aug. 5 primary. There are no candidates from other parties.
The forum coincides with the club's regular monthly meeting. Dinner and a business meeting will precede the forum.
