Southeast Missouri State University won its second consecutive match, defeating conference foe Austin Peay at Houck Field House on Saturday in five sets 30-13, 30-23, 24-30, 28-30, 15-10.
The Otahkians (3-12, 2-3 OVC) quickly took a two-set lead but Austin Peay won the next two sets to send the match into a deciding set, in which Southeast reestablished control.
Leading Southeast to the win were Jill Miller, who had 15 kills and 27 digs, and Jessica Koeper, who contributed 23 kills and 17 digs. Jamie Baumstark ignited the Otahks offense with 56 assists.
Southeast, now tied for fifth in the OVC with Tennessee-Martin, will face Tennessee State on the road Tuesday.
