FRESNO, Calif. -- Southeast Missouri State's volleyball team improved to 5-8 on the season after a four-set win over host Fresno State Saturday in the Fresno State Tournament.

Southeast won the first two sets 16-14 and 15-13, fell in the third set 15-2 and rebounded in the fourth set 15-7.

Krista Haukap led the Otahkians with 25 kills and 17 digs, while Lea Beckemeyer had 24 kills and three aces. Emily Scannell posted 58 assists and 14 digs.

Fresno State fell to 7-7.

Southeast finished the tournament with a 1-2 record after losses Friday to Santa Clara and the University of San Diego.
