Pam Todt Wilgus of Scottsdale, Ariz. has received the award of Vocational Home Economics Teacher for the state of Arizona.
She is a 1975 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Todt of Oran.
She served most recently as vice president of communications for Vocational Home Economics. She is the 1992-93 president-elect for Arizona Vocational Home Economics. Wilgus is involved in Project 2000 steering committee as well as leadership curriculum writing for Arizona State University.
She also received a grant for integrated curriculum with life management and industrial technology, which she co-authored. This grant will provide her students with modern technological equipment as well as much needed computers in the classrooms.
She teaches at Mountainside Middle School in Scottsdale, Ariz.
She recently completed her masters degree in counseling from Northern Arizona University.
