People interested in improving their skills in reading, math and language are encouraged to take part in the Adult Learning Center's orientation and diagnostic testing session Friday at 8 a.m.
Those at least 16 and not enrolled in a secondary school may enroll. Students may study for the GED test or to improve basic skills for work-related needs.
Volunteers are needed by the center to work with students and do clerical jobs. Volunteers work for only an hour or two per week.
