ORCHID SHOW WILL OPEN IN ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS A dazzling array of orchids will be on display in the natural setting of the tropical rainforest at the Missouri Botanical Garden's 1992 Orchid Floral Display beginning on Saturday.

This year's orchid show will emulate a rainforest with orchids, waterfalls, vines and other visual elements. It will be on display until Feb. 16. It is one of the garden's activities revolving around the rainforest to accompany the Smithsonian Institution's traveling exhibit "Tropical RainForest, a Disappearing Treasure."
