Schaffner will be joined by guitarist Steve Pirtle and will offer a demonstration of fiddle playing from cajun to Ozark Mountain.
The celebrity guest conductor on Wednesday's program is Don McNeely of KFVS-TV. He will conduct "His Honor" march.
Other selections on the program include: Heat Lightning Concert March, Ozark Overture, Lassus Trombone featuring the trombone section, St. Louis Blues, 2nd American Folk Rhapsody and selections from the Broadway musical "The King and I."
Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair. The performance is free. The band is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department.
