ORAN SCHEDULES ENROLLMENT

ORAN - Kindergarten enrollment for the 1991-92 school year will be conducted on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11 at the Oran Elementary School.

Enrollment will be conducted between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Parents must first contact the school at 262-3435 to set up an appointment.

To enroll for the fall, a child must be five years of age by July 1. Prospective kindergarten students, whose birthdays fall between July 2 and Sept. 30 may be assessed, and if found ready, may enter kindergarten.

Elementary Principal Barbara Tyler reminded parents that they must bring proof-of-birth and up-to-date immunization records for each child being enrolled.

Mrs. Darlene Pearson, parent educator, will also be conducting a free screening for children, ages 18 months to four years, on April 10-11. Parents are requested to call 262-3435 for an appointment.
