BENTON, Mo, -- An Oran, Mo., man charged with downloading child pornography to his computer pleaded guilty Wednesday.
Andrew Stroud, 22, was charged last year with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. An investigation by Scott County, the Poplar Bluff Police Department and the Southeast Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force found that Stroud had downloaded videos containing child pornography.
The videos were reportedly discovered on Stroud's computer after the agencies executed a search warrant at the man's home.
On Wednesday, he pleaded guilty to three of the charges and had the other seven dropped.
Stroud will be sentenced April 18.
