ORAN -- The annual Oran Fall Festival will be held this weekend at Tilles Memorial City Park here.
The event is sponsored by the Oran Jaycees.
On Friday, the grounds open at 5 p.m. for a softball tournament. A square dance exhibit will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and Charlie's Music Revue will provide music for a dance at 9.
Excalibur will provide music on Saturday.
The softball tournament continues Saturday at 8 a.m., and the carnival rides begin at 11 a.m.
A bicycle-decorating contest begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a parade at 11.
At noon, a horseshoe tournament begins, followed by children's games at 1:30.
Bingo games, sponsored by the Morley VFW, will begin at 2, with a martial arts exhibit at 2:30.
Several pageants will also be held during the two-day festival. The Miss Oran contest begins at 8 p.m. Friday. At 4 p.m. Saturday, there will be a Little Mr. and Miss Oran Contest, followed by a Junior Miss Oran pageant at 6. The Miss Fall Festival pageant begins at 8 Saturday.
