MARBLE HILL -- "Operation Christmas" was founded 30 years ago by the Marble Hill-Lutesville Junior Women's Club G.F.W.C. and has served Bollinger County since 1969.
And since this is the 30th anniversary, the Junior Women's Club would like to make it special!
Will you help the club with this worthy project this year?
Last year, over 100 families were helped with food for their Christmas dinner and toys for the children.
Items needed are new or good, clean used toys; books and games for the children; personal items such as jewelry, cosmetics, curling irons and hair dryers for the teenagers; warm gloves and scarves for all ages; and gifts for elderly singles.
Items may be dropped of at Lutesville Motor Company in Marble Hill from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday; or to the Banner-Press newspaper office in Marble Hill from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
