OPENS NEW CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS

Former Cape Girardeau resident Gary Arnold has returned to the city and started a construction contracting business. He is building two homes in Northfield Subdivision now.

After leaving Cape Girardeau, Arnold was involved in construction in Dallas, then Memphis. He built homes and did interior finishing for two years in Dallas. In 1988 he built a commercial strip center in Memphis that housed retail and entertainment businesses. He has been involved in residential construction since then.

While in Cape Girardeau, he was involved in several ventures, including Arnold's Home Furnishings before leaving the city.
