Openings in most classes still exist for "ExplorArt," the Summer Art Workshops for children ages 6-17.
Openings are available in the week-long classes for Drawing, which meets 8:30-11:30 a.m. July 77-11; in both 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. session of Painting, which meets July 14-18, Sculpture, which meets July 21-15, and Multi-Media, which meets July 28-Aug. 1.
The two week classes Pottery for ages 8-11 and Pottery & Basketry for ages 12-17 still have space available. The four-week class Fundamentals of Acting for grades 6-12 is still open to enrollment.
Brenda Seyer will teach the Sculpture class for ages 6-9, and Drawing, Painting and Multi-Media for ages 10 and up. Elizabeth Thomas will teach ages 66-9 in the Drawing, Painting and Multi-Media classes. Carol Horst will teach ages 10 and up in the Sculpture class. Saundra Fidler will teach Pottery & Basketry for ages 12-17. Fundamentals of Acting will be taught by Tim Daly.
Classes are limited to 15 students per teacher.
The art and pottery classes will be held in the Southeast Missouri State University art Department buildings. The Acting class will be held at a location to be announced.
