Only about 140 people in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois remain out of power following last week's ice storm and the weekend's high winds.
Black River Electric Cooperative, AmerenUE, AmerenCIPS, and SEMO Electric Cooperative reported no outages Tuesday morning. Two houses around Trail of Tears State Park are without power, a spokeswoman for Citizens Electric Cooperative said.
Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative, based in Dongola, Ill., said in a news release that power should be restored to 140 customers without power this morning today or Wednesday at the latest.
