CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Police are investigating a shooting Thursday that injured a Charleston man.
About 12:10 p.m., Charleston Department of Public Safety director Robert Hearnes said it received several calls of shots fired in the 700 block of Gail Street. Officers discovered a male victim in the roadway with a gunshot wound.
The victim, Larico Coleman, 35, of Charleston was transported to a hospital for medical treatment, where he is listed in stable condition, Hearnes said.
No suspects were in custody at press time.
