DEXTER, Mo. -- One man died in a fire that was called into the Dexter Fire Deptartment just before 7 a.m. Friday, the Dexter Daily Statesman reported.
An RV parked at Gaslight Village Trailer Park just off Outer Road North on County Road 405 was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene at 6:51 a.m.
Because there was no immediate cause of fire known, the Stoddard County Major Case Squad, along with the fire marshal, were called to the scene to investigate.
The name of the fire victim was not immediately released, pending notification of next of kin.
