This week the Southeast Missourian asked, "Do you think Cape Girardeau has a litter problem?"
Gerri Dudley, Cape Girardeau
"Yes, the city has a big litter problem. There's a lot of places around town that are full of trash. It's on the sides of the street. It's everywhere."
Doris Pekarek, Cape Girardeau
"I don't. I just don't think so."
Willa Hamilton, Cape Girardeau
"I'd say no. I think everybody does a pretty good job of picking up after themselves."
Ginger Young, Cape Girardeau
"Maybe just a little. I don't think it's a lot. I've really never paid that much attention."
Christian Enyart, Cape Girardeau
"I don't know if it would be a litter problem. I just know that certain areas do have more litter than others. I don't think the road crews do everything they can. I know that the city is suppose to have people that are suppose to clean up, like street sweepers. It doesn't seem like the do their job incredibly well."
