Curt Brandhorst, Carbondale

"Well, the concerts are always fun. Good concerts, good times, something to dance to."

Tom Little, Chaffee

"I guess when it first started there was quite a bit of drinking and stuff going on and I've heard that they've cleaned that up somewhat. That's the reason why I never did have a desire to be down here. I didn't want a Mardi Gras-type atmosphere. It should be more family oriented."

Jerry Lomax, Cape Girardeau

"A different time of day for the entertainment. Something maybe shortly around noon and then something at night. Try to draw people out earlier in the day. More live entertainment of some sort I would guess. They have the Saturday night and the Friday night thing, but as far as coming down and checking out the crafts and stuff you can only walk up and down the street so many times."

Crissy Ellinghouse, Cape Girardeau

"Maybe more family events that families can participate in."

Roc Brown, Scott City

"I'd like to see a little more entertainment during the day along the lines of a Dixieland band. Anything that promotes the river. Anything like that would work fine."
