This week the Southeast Missourian asked, "How do you think the weather phenomenon El Nino has affected Southeast Missouri's weather?"
Edith Taylor, Benton
"It's real different. There for awhile it was warm and no it's so cold. It's unpredictable."
Bryan Truemper, St. Louis
"I don't know. I'm not used to this kind of weather in December. Hopefully we'll get a lot of snow this winter so we can do some sledding."
Rick Reddington, St. Louis
"I suppose it has. It seems like it's warmer more than it has been. We're still working, the ground hasn't froze yet."
Becky Crowell, Jackson
"So far I don't really see that it has. I think it's bound to have an affect on the United States weather but, so far, I don't see any signs of it."
Patrick Minner, Jackson
"It's a little wetter. Right now it's pretty warm for December."
