This week the Southeast Missourian asked, "What is your favorite summer activity?"

Terry Young, Jackson:

"Bass fishing, because I just do it every weekend. I just fished last weekend. I've got a $30,000 bass boat and a $30,000 truck to pull it with. That's why I like it."

Nancy Price, Mounds, Ill.:

"Ours is boating. We just got a new boat, so we are going to take it out this weekend. That would be my favorite."

Diana Held, McClure, Ill.:

"Fishing. I just like to fish."

Rhonda Bridges, Cape Girardeau:

"Swimming. When it's so hot and humid you jump in the water, you cool off, you can suntan, you can be with friends and it's cheap."

Kristy Allmon, Cape Girardeau:

"I guess just go on float trips and things like that."
