OLYMPIC SPONSOR

Belden Jewelers, 183 West Park Mall, Cape Girardeau, will participate in the firm's national sponsorship of the 1991 Special Olympics, to be held July 19-27, in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

Belden, a division of Sterling, Inc., headquartered in Akron, Ohio, will donate 25 cents for every credit application a customer completes through June 30.

The corporate office has committed to a minimum of $25,000.

More than 6,000 athletes, from about 100 countries, are expected to participate in the Special Olympics
