OLMSTED LOCK AND DAM PROJECT MEETING TOPIC

ULLIN, Ill. -- The Louisville District Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting on the Olmsted Lock and Dam project at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 at Shawnee Community College near Ullin.

Representatives of the district and the Department of Labor will give a presentation and will be available to answer questions.

Topics include a general presentation on the status and schedule of the project. Discussions will be held on small and disadvantaged business contracting procedures and employment practices such as minority employment targets, training programs, and compliance reviews by the Department of Labor.
