Old Town Cape elects executive committee, directors

Old Town Cape Inc. has announced the election of members to the executive committee and the board of directors.

* 2006 Old Town Cape Inc. executive committee: Dr. Steven Hoffman, Southeast Missouri State University, president; Tom Higgins, Thomas R. Higgins Accounting, past president; Terri Foley, historic preservation consultant, first vice president; Chris Hutson, Hutson's Fine Furniture, second vice president; Rhett Hendrickson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, secretary; Dennis Meyer, Meyer Supply, treasurer.

* New Old Town Cape board members: Scott Blank, Bi-State Oil Co.; Donna Maguire, resident/Neighborhood Connections; Kim McDowell, Southeast Missourian; Lee Schlitt, Capaha Bank.

Continuing board members are Heather Brooks, city of Cape Girardeau; Greg Cook, Zickfield's Jewelers; Jayne Ervin, Jayson Jewelers Ltd.; Sarah Goeke, Downtown Kids Association, student representative; Kendra Harris, Jayson Jewelers Ltd.; Jim Maurer, Rhodes 101; Scott Shivelbine, Shivelbine's Music Store.
