OLD-FASHIONED BARN DANCE DEC. 19

Cape Friends of Old Time Music and Dance will hold an old-fashioned barn dance Dec. 19 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

The event will be held in the dance studio of the Parker Building on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.

Joe Surdyk of Carbondale will call and Max and Ann Drake will perform old-time tunes on guitar and fiddle.

Each dance is taught beforehand. No previous experience is necessary. Al ages are welcome. Donation is $3.

The Parker Building is behind the tennis courts on Henderson. Parking is available in the new Dempster Building parking lot. The dance studio is on the second floor.
