Oktoberfest to coincide with celebration

Buckner Brewing Co. is going German this Saturday, coinciding with the Southeast Missourian's centennial celebration.

Buckner will have its annual Oktoberfest during its regular hours of operation. Buckner's Oktoberfest will feature up to 10 styles of micro-brewed beer on tap, including the launch of the annual Oktoberfest beer.

This year the restaurant will also feature a menu of special German food items. Saturday night Buckner will also play host to the Old Town Cape Roaring '20s Party, from 7 p.m. to midnight in the Riverview Room on the third floor.
