Officer uses stun gun on middle school student
MAPLEWOOD, Mo. -- A school resource officer in suburban St. Louis was suspended with pay after allegedly using a stun gun on a middle school student. The president of the Maplewood-Richmond Heights school board told KMOV-TV that the incident happened April 3 at Maplewood Middle School. The student was taken to a hospital as a precaution. There was no immediate word on what prompted the officer to use the stun gun. The officer was suspended with pay while the investigation continues.
