JACKSON -- While Friday, Dec. 29 will be moving day for employees of other city offices in Jackson, collector's office employees will be collecting bills and taxes as usual.
The city is moving furniture and supplies to the new City Hall on Courthouse Square.
City Collector Beverly Nelson said people can conduct business in her office at the old City Hall at 225 S. High on Dec. 29, even though other city offices will be closed for moving to the new site on Courthouse Square.
All city offices will open for business on Jan. 2 in the new City Hall.
