The seventh annual Octoberfest will be held Saturday and Sunday at Black Forest Villages.
The weekend will offer demonstrations such as basket weaving, broom making, pioneer furniture making , weaving, leathersmithing, quilting and wood carving, among other traditional crafts.
Music will be provided by the Coyote Creek Band.
Food will include kettle corn, grilled chicken, corn dogs, Polish sausage, funnel cakes and apple cider.
The site is located 4 miles north of Cape Girardeau on County Road 738. From Highway 71 in Cape Girardeau, take Lexington Avenue to Route W, turn right at the stop sign and watch for signs.
