MOUNDS, Ill. -- Betty Jean Mize, 66, of Mounds died Saturday, July 26, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Cairo, the daughter of Bonnie and Mary Wildy Daniels.
She was a nurse's aide for TIP of Illinois Health Service.

She was Pentecostal.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse F. Mize of the home; three daughters, Carol Jean Mize of the home, Janet Adair of Mounds and Patty Riedel of O'Fallon, Mo.; a sister, Bernice Dennis of Mounds; two brothers, Curtis Daniels of Mounds and Maurice Daniels of Pine Bluff, Ark.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ernest Browning officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
