An Oak Ridge man must serve more than seven years in federal prison for attempting to manufacture methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway's office announced Monday. Keith Ray Seabaugh, 50, was arrested on April 15, 2004, in St. Louis County after he was observed buying pseudoephedrine at several stores along with other items used to make methamphetamine. St. Louis County Drug Task Force officers notified the SEMO Drug Task Force, which searched his home, according to a news release. The search uncovered various items used to manufacture meth, a police scanner and a video surveillance camera. At the time of his arrest, Seabaugh was on probation in state court for a 2002 conviction for manufacturing methamphetamine and a 2003 conviction for stealing.
