NOTRE DAME TEACHER TO CANCER SOCIETY BOARD

Betty Cox, a teacher at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau, has been named a Lifetime Honorary Board Member of the Missouri Division of the American Cancer Society.
Cox, of Cape Girardeau, was originally elected to the Missouri Division Board of Directors in 1981. She currently serves on the Crusade Committee and Field Services Committee.

Her latest honor was awarded Oct. 12 at a Cancer Society meeting in Jefferson City.
She was chairman of the Crusade Committee in 1982, and has served as secretary of the board.
