Five Notre Dame High School juniors have been selected as participants to Missouri Boys State June 15-22 at Central Missouri State.
The students are Gregory Bone, Gregory Rubel, David Tanner and Charles Wehner, all of Cape Girardeau, and Tom Jansen of Kelso.
The American Legion Boys State of Missouri is a citizenship training program. Its purpose is to educate youths in the duties, privileges, responsibilities and rights of American citizenship.
Young men who exhibit outstanding qualities of leadership, character, scholarship and citizenship are considered as candidates.
