Laura Griffith of Notre Dame High School has been selected by the International Cheerleading Association to participate in the halftime entertainment of the Jeep Eagle Aloha Bowl in Honolulu.

Griffith was enrolled in a cheerleading camp sponsored by the International Cheerleading Association last summer and was selected at that time as a candidate for participation in the Aloha Bowl.

She joins 250 girls from all over the United States for a nine-day trip to Honolulu. The Aloha Bowl will air on ABC Christmas day.

Griffith is a cheerleader at Notre Dame High School and is the daughter of Richard Griffith and Debbie Griffith of Cape Girardeau.
