NOTRE DAME STUDENT ATTENDS PILGRIMAGE

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Todd Essner of Notre Dame High School will join other Missouri students for the annual Sophomore Pilgrimage to Jefferson City April 8-9.

To receive this honor, the sophomore must rank in the upper fourth of the class and demonstrate high standards for leadership and service. The faculty and students at Notre Dame vote to select the student.

Essner plays junior varsity basketball. He is involved in the Catholic Youth Council at St. Augustine's Church in Kelso. He is the son of Jim and Hope Essner of Scott City.
