Ryan Willen made two free throws with 3 seconds left to lift Notre Dame past St. Charles 53-51 in a Class 4 state semifinal on Friday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
The Bulldogs (27-4) will play the state's top-ranked Class 4 team, Ruskin (28-1), at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Willen scored 19 points, Ty Williams added 14 and Austin Greer had 10 for Notre Dame.
The Bulldogs trailed 29-25 at halftime but built a 37-31 lead in the third period before St. Charles caught up. The Pirates led 48-43 with 3:25 to play but were held to three free throws the rest of the way.
