Two adults are unharmed after their vehicle overturned on Old Sprigg Street Road Wednesday when the driver swerved to avoid striking a vehicle that had entered their lane. Two adults are unharmed after their vehicle overturned on Old Sprigg Street Road Wednesday when the driver swerved to avoid striking a vehicle that had entered their lane.

The accident occurred just before 5 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle that rolled over, Curtis Lailer, 22, said he was traveling south on Old Sprigg Street Road about a half-mile from Bertling Street when he swerved to avoid hitting an "older model blue Dodge Stratus" which had entered his lane of traffic.

Lailer's passenger, Caleb Burton, 19, said their black four-door Ford Explorer caught some gravel, hit the ditch and rolled over.

The vehicle Lailer said caused the accident was not at the scene of the crash.

Investigation of the accident will continue, police at the scene said.
