MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Two boys, ages 4 and 2, who were found sleeping in a yard earlier this month were turned over to the custody of one of the boys' father after a hearing Nov. 15 with the Division of Family Services, the Banner Press reported. No charges were filed against the boys' mother, Amanda K. McHughs of McClure, Ill., who had left the children with the grandmother of a friend, who lives in Marble Hill. The boys had slipped out of the house during the night while the grandmother of the friend was asleep, and the children were found asleep in a neighbor's yard.
